Blueprint Guides The Mount Sinai-Irving J. Selikoff Center for Occupational and Environmental Medicine (COEM) provides comprehensive clinical services for the evaluation, treatment and prevention of work related disease and cumulative trauma injuries. The Center's multidisciplinary staff includes physicians, nurses, industrial hygienists, physical and occupational therapists, an ergonomist, social worker and health educator. Clinical Centers are located in Manhattan and Westchester County.

Dr. Irving J. Selikoff founded the Center in 1974, and COEM became part of the statewide Network of Occupational Health Clinics in 1987.

COEM offers a number of unique clinical service and programs, including:

The Program to Treat & Prevent Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs)
  Social Work Services
  Assistance with Workers' Compensation and Benefits
  Asbestos-Related Medical Monitoring Services
  M.U.S.I.C. or Musicians' Injury Prevention and Care Program
  Dancers Injury Prevention and Care Program
